Observe your posture, whether standing, sitting or laying down. Adjusting your position a little could give you a healthier low back. It is good to always find a firm surface when you are sitting or laying down. A firm mattress will provide you with excellent low back support. Sleeping on your stomach is not a good posture as it stretches your low back for the entire duration of your sleep. The optimum way to sleep is on your side. When sitting down, it is ideal to use an ergonomic chair to sit in so that your low back is supported, straight and flat.
